Day 7-8-9: Tigeriffic Tiger!!

Welcome to Team Tiger!!

PS: The first thing that came into my mind when I was doing my jumps - bouncing Tigger!

Anyhow, I always feel more jolly after the jumps! No wonder Tigger's always in best of moods and ever ready to take up a challenge :)

Hello Tiger and Tigress! Let's work towards our KFB goals together!

Day 5 & 6: Strike 1!

Yes, I missed my workout on Friday :(

Yeah, right after I said I will track.

Pretty upset with myself.

Compensated with 2 yoga sessions on the following day with Day 6 workout.

Gosh. No more. ARRGGHHH. I need better planning.

Inertia is more challenging or sustainability?

Ok, just ranting. No more. KFB is in my calendar, NOW.

Anyone has any sharing on how they sustain their energy and able to workout everyday consistently, without fail OR on how they managed to get up earlier to workout, please share!

Day 4: The I-M-Possible goal!

I always thought that having a flat-abs bod is an impossible goal. Somewhat, that had enticed me to want to achieve it, and it'll be a "miracle" if it ever get realised (Maybe it's my competitive nature). I was pretty near that with PCP yet with the inconsistency to follow through post PCP, I never achieved the image I held in my head.

And it really bugs me.

So this time round, the past experience sets me differently when I am in KFB now. I believe that what I had gone through previously allowed me to see my pits and be aware of them. The way and state which I am approaching my routine now is much more focused.

Recently, I read something that shifted my paradigm on the process on achieving an impossible goal.

There is no such thing as an Impossible goal. Only impractical steps to get to the goal.

This had reinforced my belief and action. This time round, I am adamant about keeping to my vision of having the desired results and I am taking steps to ensure I am tracking it!

All the best!

Day 3: Breathing 1:4:2

It's been quite a long while since I had meditated and it's really refreshing to have it as part of the routine in KFB. Often, I had wanted to set aside time to get back into short meditation, yet there's always some convenient excuse lurking not do it. So thank you Patrick for putting it in!

I had decided to take my quiet moment during meditation to just focus on one thing - breathing and it's amazing how much I am enjoying it! It really a mind therapy to enjoy the breathe. Generally, I keep to the 1:4:2 rule, eg, breathing in for 4 counts, holding my breathe for 16 counts and breathing out in 8 counts. It took a little getting used to, yet it really allowed my body and mind to calm down and relax.

Give it a shot! If it's too long, cut to 3counts in:12counts hold: 6counts out!

Take time to breath and enjoy!

Day 2: Every muscle let's scream!

Day 2. Did my routine diligently and boy, my arms and thighs were seriously aching from Day 1's exercises! Parts of my body that I didn't know existed screamed in soreness as I continued with my dips and straight kicks!

Welcome back!

Note to self: I must say, a slip of habit for half a year and I do not seem to know my body well anymore. Feeling hungry after cutting out the carbs in the evening. Obviously I had been feeding bad food to myself. Bad refueling, and it's gonna change!

Day 1: Let's get this party startedll

Hello world! Am back with a vengence since PCP! Am so glad that Patrick sent a mail to invite ex-PCPers to participate in this endeavor, aka, Kung Fu Body! It's been half a year of backsliding since my completion of PCP and I believe that the Universe had sense my call for help! From PCP, I learnt that short term project keeps me going and this is precisely why I decided to join KFB. Outside-in approach till I just get it in my blood!

So starting this week will be 90 days of fun ;)

Ahhhhdaaaaaaaaaa!
