The momentum seemed to be picking up on and off as I missed some of my practice. I thought of resetting my exercise to 2 weeks back, and spoke to Patrick about it. He suggested pushing on from where I was, follow through with the team.
It strike me then - some things in life, you cannot just push the stop button and restart. You just got to get going, make right what you did wrong and learn from the experience. I may have lost some of my momentum along the way, yet, it doesn't give me the excuse to restart. Live with the consequence, embrace it and continue where I am.
A lesson learnt. I am pushing through this.
How are you, Tiggers!!??

Day 45: Two days old, time's running
Been a while, 2 days old rather. Been slow on my progress on KFB. June's coming to an end and I am really glad that July's round the corner as it marks one of the peak timings of my year!
Now it's back to the full gear - gonna pick up what I had missed. Sometimes, I really do take time that I have at hand for granted. Recently, I revisited the Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. Never fail to serve as a humbling and inspiring reminder. It's about the quality of life that I want to lead. At times, I lose track of that and get caught up in the repetitive doing (with no awareness).
Pick up from where I am! Here's something to share :)
Chasing childhood dreams.

Day 33: The Soaring Eagle
I heard...
Once there was an injured baby eagle, which was abandoned and later found by a kind farmer. The farmer took great care of it and nurtured it back to health. Upon recovering, the baby eagle spent all its time in the farmland, mingling with the baby chicks and as time went by, the baby eagle grew, and gradually, picked up the ways of the chicken.
Meanwhile, the kind farmer attempted to teach the eagle to fly by enticing it to flap its wings, hoping that the now young eagle will soar some day. Unfortunately, instead of soaring high, the eagle continued its chicken ways, happily pecking at the feed and forgetting that it is indeed an eagle.
Several attempts pushed the farmer out of his wits and in a flash of frustration, the farmer grabbed the young eagle and toss it over a cliff!
And at that precise moment, the young eagle started to flap it wings. Madly, like its the only thing it ever knew and the story goes....it soared up high, into the distant sky.
Well?
***
Sets me thinking - must it be at THE crunch that the realization hit one, and action is finally taken? Probably. Maybe one has to be put on the line, to step up and take action.

Day 26: Threshold
Stretching had always been a metaphor - Physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually.
I had just finished my conference and it's really a calm revelation that, after the built up, the anxiety and the expectation, when the moment it ended, that's it. Yeah, that's it! What's left of the whole whirlpool is the fact that I had grown. My threshold for things/events had been stretched. Doesn't matter what had happened, for whatever had happened, the me now is the cumulative product.
I have a new take on "this too shall pass". Most importantly is to savor the moment, as this too shall pass.

Day 18: This close.
Oh gosh! I realised I am one day off to being kicked out from the KFB program (I had not blogged for 9 days!)! These days, I was mega caught up by the upcoming conference that I will be speaking at. Loads of prep to be done and I am totally tossed off from my blogging.
It just hit me that a week just zipped by! Time flies, which goes to show - wait no more, pursue relentlessly towards your dream. Time and tide, waits for no one.
Ganbatte everyone!!
"In essence, if we want to direct our lives, we must take control of our consistent actions. It's not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives, but what we do consistently." - Anthony Robbins.
Mental note: Commitment to consistency.

Welcome to Team Tiger!!
PS: The first thing that came into my mind when I was doing my jumps - bouncing Tigger!
Anyhow, I always feel more jolly after the jumps! No wonder Tigger's always in best of moods and ever ready to take up a challenge :)
Hello Tiger and Tigress! Let's work towards our KFB goals together!

Day 5 & 6: Strike 1!
Yes, I missed my workout on Friday :(
Yeah, right after I said I will track.
Pretty upset with myself.
Compensated with 2 yoga sessions on the following day with Day 6 workout.
Gosh. No more. ARRGGHHH. I need better planning.
Inertia is more challenging or sustainability?
Ok, just ranting. No more. KFB is in my calendar, NOW.
Anyone has any sharing on how they sustain their energy and able to workout everyday consistently, without fail OR on how they managed to get up earlier to workout, please share!
